What I realized about poverty and mental health chairing the robo-debt inquiry

It's been more than two years in view that I chaired the primary hearing of the Senate inquiry into the notorious "robo-debt" program. I'll under no circumstances forget taking note of individuals in the community provide facts about what it is want to acquire a robo-debt letter. We all started getting calls to our workplace in late 2016 and then it grew to be many emails a day.  

We heard lots of facts. there were 9 hearings throughout Australia, and what's going to all the time stick to me, is that at each listening to, we heard from or about people having suicidal options or a extreme deterioration in mental health upon receiving a letter.
