WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. (AP) — Leaders in the North Carolina metropolis of Winston-Salem say they'll believe relocating $1 million from its police funds to pay for greater efforts in opposition t poverty.

The Winston-Salem Journal pronounced Monday that the dialogue among metropolis leaders follows calls for across the country to reduce spending for police following the death of a black man in police custody in Minneapolis.
