Former Pakistan president Mamnoon Hussain on Wednesday passed away after a protracted illness in Karachi on the age of eighty, his son has verified.
Mamnoon Hussain was littered with cancer and had been hospitalised for the past two weeks, his son Arsalan Mamnoon talked about.
Hussain turned into the twelfth president of Pakistan, who served from 2013 to 2018 during the tenure of the Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N). He was one of the vital senior PML-N leaders. The ruling birthday celebration Senator Faisal Javed Khan provided condolences at the passing of Hussain, praying for strength for his members of the family to deal with the loss.
Murtaza Wahab, adviser to Sindh chief minister, also shared disappointment at Hussain's death, announcing "he served his workplace with grace and dignity."
