Pakistan, Turkey amicably resolve Karkey dispute: PM ...

  • The prime minister congratulated the govt team for doing a superb job in attaining this.
  • He mentioned resolution of the Karkey dispute had saved Pakistan USD1.2 billion penalty imposed by the foreign Centre for agreement of funding disputes.
  • ISLAMABAD: prime Minister Imran Khan Monday referred to Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) govt, with the aid of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, had amicably resolved the Karkey dispute.

    In his twitter message, he pointed out decision of the Karkey dispute had saved Pakistan USD1.2 billion penalty imposed by using the foreign Centre for contract of funding disputes (ICSID).

    The prime minister congratulated the government crew for doing an excellent job in achieving this.
